Get Help with Customer Service Nightmares
Wal-Mart Gift Cards
Did you know that it takes 2+ weeks, or longer, for Wal-Mart to get a first-class mailed gift card to the recipient, after supposedly shipping it. You might want to think twice about buying one if you don't have at least 3-4 weeks before someone's birthday.

This is very embarrassing. I don't understand why Wal-Mart couldn't get a gift card there in 10 days. My friend got NO BIRTHDAY PRESENT from me. It hurt her feelings.
The card was ordered 09/15 and supposedly shipped 09/17. It finally arrived 10/02 after I had already cancelled it. It took me 3 hours on the phone to get my refund straightened out.
I won't try this again.
